Peer Resources is a group of 18 sophomores, juniors, and seniors dedicated to understanding themselves and their community with a common goal of increasing communication about issues that pertain to high school life. The group meets every Wednesday with leaders Joani Lacey
and Sanjai Moses
to explore various topics and build group facilitation skills.
In the fall, Peer Resources organizes "Communications Evening," an event for parents and students to engage in lively conversations about high school life. Peer Resources members are also involved in assisting the new freshmen transition to MA, including facilitating games and bonding activities at the freshmen orientation overnights and at the New Family Welcome Day, and sitting on panels in the freshmen seminars to talk about preparing for finals. Additionally, Peer Resources may meet with school administrators to provide student feedback on issues that may come up during the school year. Applications are accepted from rising sophomores in the spring to fill the vacancies left by graduating seniors.
