Marin Academy Parents Association (MAPA)

The mission of the Marin Academy Parents’ Association (MAPA) is to create a welcoming and inclusive community by providing programs and activities that enhance school life for students, faculty, staff, parents, and guardians.

MAPA Programs

Get Involved with MAPA!

Getting involved as a parent/guardian is one of the best ways to feel at home at MA. All parents and guardians are members of the Marin Academy Parents Association (MAPA).

Get to know your fellow MA parents and guardians by attending a parent/guardian hike, coffee, or potluck. You can also join your fellow parents, guardians, and students at a Spirit Barbecue during MA athletics events throughout the year. MA performing artists are devoted and passionate; you’ll be blown away by the talent at our music concerts, theater productions, and dance performances.

MA parent/guardian volunteers support more than 100 events and experiences for students, families, faculty, and staff, and we’d love to have you to join us! There are volunteer opportunities to fit all schedules and interests. Take a minute to read the MAPA Guide to Getting Involved, and please complete the Volunteer & Interest Form, which will help you explore volunteer opportunities that best suit your interests.

You can also review our Volunteer Job Descriptions.
