Eliza graduated from Marin Academy in 2018. After MA, she received a B.S. in Strategic Communication with a focus in Public Relations along with a Minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Currently, Eliza is an Event Manager for LJF Events, LLC, a San Francisco-based corporate event planning agency.
When she is not planning events, Eliza enjoys cooking, knitting, and exploring the outdoors with her dog Moose!
Milton graduated from MA in 2015. He spent one year at Santa Rosa Junior College before transferring to USC, where he received his B.A. in Political Science and minored in Business Administration in 2019. During his time, he served as Chief Diversity Officer of Undergraduate Student Government and was a member of Trojan Knights.
Milton went on to start a post-graduate career in Logistics and Operations for companies including McMaster-Carr, Flexport, and startups in Los Angeles. He also coaches youth softball and baseball in South Central.
Jessie graduated from Marin Academy in 2001. After MA, she received a BA from Vassar College in Urban Studies and Hispanic Studies and her Masters at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Jessie danced professionally after MA and Vassar and started her own modern dance company. She has worked across sectors—non-profit, consulting, and startups—in partnerships, business development, and community/public engagement roles. She is currently the Co-founder of Enrichment.kids and a public engagement consultant to cities. She lives in the North Bay with her husband and two kids.
Candace Hamilton attended the University of Southern California after leaving Marin Academy in 2000. She spent years working in Public Relations in Chicago and San Francisco before pausing to teach English through a French Embassy program in the West Indies. Her focus then shifted to language education and cultural exchange.
Since 2010 she has shared her time between California and Guadeloupe operating the education and travel association, The English Solution.
Laurie Hanna Carrade ’96 is a graduate of Marin Academy and earned her B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She spent 15 years in institutional trading, holding roles on the trading desks at Weisel, Marsico Funds, and State Street Bank.
Laurie has remained committed to school and nonprofit communities, previously serving as President of the Burke’s Alumnae Board and currently serving on the Board of the Northstar Teams Foundation. She lives in Marin County with her husband and two daughters, both competitive freestyle mogul skiers.
Bernidet Keil Celia graduated from Marin Academy in 2000 and received a BS from Boston College in 2004 with concentrations in finance, marketing, business law, and a minor in chemistry.
After beginning her career in consulting, she joined Google’s Corporate Communications team managing high-profile policy events for heads of state, US congressional leaders, and celebrities. Subsequently, Bernidet transitioned to Google’s People Operations team in New York as a Global Staffing Lead. Currently, she lives in Marin County with her husband and three children.
Chloé graduated from Marin Academy in 2011 and earned her B.A. in International Studies from Vassar College. She brings nearly a decade of experience in sales development and sales enablement across high-growth B2B startups and global enterprise organizations.
Chloé currently works in go-to-market enablement at Intercom, an AI customer service company. She lives in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset with her husband, Jake, and their dog, Pinto.
Stephanie is an experienced leader in people, strategy, and operations with a career spanning technology, consulting, and nonprofit leadership. She currently serves as Executive Director of the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, a beloved and nationally recognized design event that raises over $1 million annually for financial aid at San Francisco University High School.
Previously, Stephanie led global employee experience and culture programs at Asana and spent nearly a decade at Google in roles across people operations, organizational effectiveness, and sales leadership. Earlier in her career, she was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman and Mercer, advising Fortune 500 companies on organizational design and talent strategy.
Stephanie holds a Master’s in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Economics from Vassar College. She is passionate about building inclusive cultures, fostering leadership development, and strengthening community through education and the arts.
