Marin Academy’s virtual Open House offers prospective families an opportunity to select and participate in class experiences taught by MA faculty that most interest you, learn about the school’s signature programs and student life, and connect directly with members of the community.  

A note about COVID-19: The safety and well-being of our MA community and visiting families is our first priority. While we love hosting you on campus, for an event this size the data is clear: it is in the best interest of our Bay Area community and public health and safety to gather virtually. Our teachers, who became experts in Zoom teaching last year, cannot wait to meet and share their lessons with you. We invite prospective families to learn more about Marin Academy through an on-campus visit! Tour the campus and meet MA students and other members of the community during this in-person visit (two virtual visits are also offered and are indicated below with an *).

Prospective students are invited to join a live 75 minute MA class to experience what it is like to be an MA student. Over the course of three classroom visit weeks this fall, every class at MA has visits offered, so choose the one(s) that interest you most. When  you get here we encourage you to participate, ask questions, and dive in fully!

Connect personally with the Admissions Team to get all of your questions answered during virtual office hours on the first Monday of each month. 

Geared towards students (though all are more than welcome), this is a casual setting to chat with MA students and the Admissions team. Pop-in for 5 minutes or stay the whole time. This is a great way to get a sense for the MA community "vibe." No need to register for these drop-in opportunities, but you can find the zoom link in Ravenna.

Designed and taught by MA students on a wide range of topics, Student-Led Workshops are a great way to connect with MA students, learn something new, and gain a stronger perspective of how dedicated our students are to education. Popular past topics range from Art & Activism to Introduction to Psychology. Workshops will be held from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in November and December. Specific dates will be announced soon.
