The MA Admissions team invites you to get to know our school and community. We look forward to getting to know you and your family throughout the Admissions process and are excited for you to learn more about us as well!
Attend an Event
On August 15th at noon we release spaces for the upcoming month’s MA Admission events in Ravenna. Each subsequent month, on the 1st at noon, we will release the following month’s events throughout the admission season (eg: November events will be released on October 1).
Sign up for admissions events through Ravenna. (Once you create your Ravenna profile, remember to click the green “Apply” button on MA’s Ravenna page—don't worry, that doesn't force you to complete the application, but it allows you to register for admissions events.) All of our admissions events are optional.
The safety and well-being of our MA community and visiting families is our first priority. All campus visitors are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted and to wear masks when indoors on the MA campus. Our decision-making, as always, is data-driven so please be sure to read the COVID-19 information in your confirmation and reminder emails. We encourage you to attend any that interest you and be in touch with us (both the admissions team and our community) throughout the year.
We hope these events will give you a glimpse into what it’s like to be an MA student. We can’t wait to meet you!
Marin Academy’s Open House offers prospective families an opportunity to select and participate in class experiences taught by MA faculty that most interest you, learn about the school’s signature programs and student life, and connect directly with members of the community.
A note about COVID-19: The safety and well-being of our MA community and visiting families is our first priority. We plan to host Open Houses on campus. Should the COVID-19 landscape prevent us from doing so safely, we would transport the event to zoom.
Visit Days offer prospective students an opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Marin Academy student. Visitors will attend class, connect with MA students, and have lunch in the MA Café. (A note about COVID-19: we plan to serve lunch and encourage visitors and their hosts to eat outdoors should weather allow, but should the COVID-19 landscape prevent us from doing so safely, we may ask for students to be picked up after their last class instead.)
Designed and taught by MA students on a wide range of topics, Student-Led Workshops are a great way to connect with MA students, learn something new, and gain a stronger perspective of how dedicated our students are to education. Popular past topics range from Art & Activism to Introduction to Psychology. Workshops will be held from 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. in November and December. Specific dates will be announced soon.
Explore MA’s beautiful campus from your own home through a virtual 360-degree tour, or spend an afternoon walking the buildings and grounds yourself with the guidance of an audio tour created by MA students.
Grab a comfy pair of shoes and head to Marin Academy to walk the campus in person with your very own student audio guides. Originally developed by students for an American Education class, and updated specifically with you in mind, all the voices you hear on this student-created audio tour are current MA students. You can also use the campus map, and follow along with the audio tour from home.
