Information for College Reps
We welcome you to visit Marin Academy and meet with our wonderful students. Only 11th and 12th graders are invited to attend meetings with college representatives.
All visits are scheduled after school—either at 3:00 or 3:30 p.m., depending on the day’s schedule. We use MaiaVisits to book rep visits. Please follow the instructions below:
- Sign up as a College/University Admissions Staff or sign in here.
- Click on Schedule Visit.
- Enter Marin Academy and the preferred week for your visit.
- Click on one of the available slots.
- Click SAVE.
- If the preferred time slot is already booked, please contact us at collegecounseling@ma.org.
Here is a video tutorial on Scheduling College Visits as a College Rep in MaiaLearning. We will send you further details once we confirm your visit. If you would like to conduct interviews or portfolio reviews on campus, we would be happy to help you with that as well.
New to recruiting in this area? We strongly encourage you to also visit some of our amazing public schools in the area like San Rafael and Terra Linda HS. Next Generation Scholars is also a community-based organization just down the street from us. Here are some approximate driving times to help you plan your high school visits in the area (depending on traffic, of course):
- 30-40 minutes from the northern part of San Francisco (e.g., San Francisco University High School or the Bay School) OR from the northern part of the East Bay Area (e.g., Albany, El Cerrito, or Saint Mary’s High Schools or Making Waves Academy)
- 20-25 minutes from Tamalpais High School or Novato High School (also home to Marin School of the Arts)
- 15-20 minutes from San Domenico School or Terra Linda High School
- 15 minutes from Redwood High School
- 10 minutes from Branson School, Marin Catholic High School, or Sir Francis Drake High School
- 5 minutes from San Rafael High School
Parking and Office Location
College counseling is located on the 2nd Floor of Founders Hall. We suggest parking along 5th Street, E Street (between 5th St. and Mission Ave.) or in the parking lot on Mission Ave. (between E St. and Bryn Mawr Dr.). View a map of campus.
