Jennifer "JT" Thomas is a former collegiate athlete and coach whose love for her own college experience fuels her passion for helping students find their “perfect fit” college. She earned a BA from UC Berkeley, an MA in Education from Stanford, and spent years teaching, coaching, and serving as an athletic director at top high schools. After an 11-season career coaching soccer at Cal, she transitioned into college counseling, serving for a decade as Director of College Counseling at Maybeck High School. JT has held national leadership roles with WACAC and NACAC, specializing in student-athletes and working closely with the NCAA. A USSF “A” licensed coach and longtime Mavericks coach, she continues to mentor student-athletes while speaking widely about the college admissions process. A coach at heart, JT draws on her experience as a former DI player and coach, high school coach and athletic director, club coach, and parent of a college athlete to guide student-athletes through the college search and help them find the right academic and athletic fit at any level. JT's presentation is open for 9th-11th grade families.
