Teaching: Typical Day
| A teacher’s typical day in the summer session looks something like this: | |
| 7:45 | Arrive at Marin Academy’s campus, run off some copies for class |
| 8:00 | Walk to the cafeteria to have breakfast with your “club” |
| 8:30 | Teach Humanities 7 |
| 9:55 | Join your club again for a quick snack and check in with a student who had trouble with last night’s homework |
| 10:30 | Meet with two other teachers to plan next week’s classes; relax in the circle during the last twenty minutes before lunch |
| 11:55 | Lunch in the cafeteria; meet with a group of kids who want to put together a skit for Town Meeting |
| 12:45 | Head over to the theater for Town Meeting; perform the skit |
| 1:15 | Co-teach a digital photography class |
| 2:30 | Hurry the kids to get to the pool for Rec Time |
| 3:40 | Meet in the circle for dismissal |
| 4:00 | Attend faculty meeting |
