Curriculum
Teaching: Curriculum
The Crossroads summer curriculum consists of academic classes, arts classes, recreational activities, and field trips. The specific content and scope of the academic and arts classes are shaped in large part by teachers during Faculty Orientation.
Each Crossroads student takes two academic classes: humanities and science. Students also take two arts classes that they select from a menu that in the past has included jazz dance, drawing and painting, video production, website design, printing, bookmaking, and digital photography to name a few. The arts offerings depend on the talents of the summer faculty.
