MA MUSIC ALUMNI PLAY YOSHI'S
Summer 2008 saw a flurry of activity from recent grads Max Chanowitz '08, Michael Nourafshan '08 and Erik Strand '08 as they were a constant presence in the MA music facilities. The big three continued recording and mixing their much-anticipated cd, as well as rehearsing for a number of live performances and actively coaching and teaching in the MA summer music program. Reporters and photographers from both the Marin Independent Journal and the San Francisco Chronicle were wowed by their youthful mastery and their unique mix of old and new musical influences. As we start classes on Monday in the post-Trio era their influence and legacy will be much noted and appreciated.
