Visit Us
Thank you for your interest in Marin Academy! We hope that you have a chance to come visit the school at some point during the application process. There are a number of ways to become familiar with our campus, faculty, students and philosophy.

Visit Days
Student visit days are not required, but are recommended as a way for prospective students and parents to judge for themselves whether Marin Academy is a good match.
Visit times vary slightly depending on visit date, but our half day visits generally start at 7:50 or 9:15 AM. Parents are invited at the same start time as the student for an informal question and answer session with the Admissions Director and a tour of the Marin Academy campus. This parent program typically lasts one and a half to two hours.
To schedule a visit appointment, call the Admissions Office starting August 23, 2007 at 415.453.2808. Although we try to accommodate as many families as possible, these visit appointments are limited.
Open Houses
Open Houses in 2007-2008 will be held on the following dates:
Saturday, October 13, 2007 - Afternoon
Tuesday, October 30, 2007 - 7:00 - 9:00 PM Athletic Open House, New
Gym
All prospective students interested in participating in interscholastic
athletics are welcome!
Saturday, November 17, 2007 - Afternoon
Tuesday, December 11, 2007 - 7:00 PM
Open House Invitations are enclosed in the Admissions packet
- You let us know your date preference
- Email from our office will indicate your time
- Saturday events are staggered to accommodate the maximum number of people
- We ask that you attend at the time indicated on your confirmation
- Space is limited
Please note, if the applicant is not applying for the 2008 - 2009 school year we welcome you to come to the Open House in December. We must give priority to 8th grade families for all Open House events.
Interviews
Student interviews are required for admission to Marin Academy. Interviews are scheduled at half-hour intervals (usually between mid-November and late January). Interviews take place in the Admissions Office between one member of the Admissions Committee and one student.
