Application Timeline

Applying to an independent high school is an involved process for students and families. The smaller steps you will take while completing the process (visiting the school, attending an Open House, etc.) are intended for you to learn as much about Marin Academy as possible. Your job as a prospective student and a prospective parent is to determine which high school would be your best match. Our job on the Admissions Committee is to make a similar determination; which students will be the best match for creating and sustaining the kind of learning community that we value.

Below is a list of admissions events and important deadlines for the admissions process. Please feel free to contact our Admissions Office if you have any questions about the required information.

Friday, September 21 Class Visit Program begins (We will begin scheduling visits on Thursday, August 23. Please call early to arrange a visit as the schedule fills quickly)

This January 12 test is the LAST opportunity to take the SSAT for the 2007-2008 admissions cycle.
